Common Problems and Questions

"The text is wrapping incorrectly."

This is usually caused by the browser (Netscape, Lynx, etc). On browsers that allow you to do so, re-size the window. Generally, making the window wider will solve the problem. You can also try re-sizing the default text size. (This is usually under "Preferences" or "Settings"). On browsers such as lynx, this is an issue of your window not being large enough. The solutions vary so widely that it is impossible to give a blanket solution. Generally, it will involve making the display a bit larger.

 

"How do I save a file instead of printing it?"

Most browsers offer some type of Save or Save as feature. While many browsers will assume you want to save it as text (without the programming codes), some browsers will give you a choice. In that case, choose "Text" not "Source."
