Reading this book brought to mind Custer's Last Stand.  Litigation claiming recovered repressed memories of childhood abuse has for all practical purposes stopped.  Few, if any, new suits are being brought.  Almost all of the concepts and suggestions in this book for bringing actions based on a claim of a repressed memory have been falsified by scientific research or rejected by the courts.  This is whipping a dead horse.

The most revealing portion of this book is the suggested cross-examination techniques for experts who are skeptical about repressed memories.  They may represent good cross examination approaches for an advocate but do not do much for the pursuit of truth.

The only use for this book that I can see is for someone who wants to get prepared for hostile cross examinations.  There is nothing about repressed memory that is of use any more.
